US-based Riptide Software has been awarded a contract for the US Army One Semi-Automated Force (OneSAF) computer-generated forces simulation system.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee, firm-fixed-price contract is valued at $103.221m over six years.

Riptide Software is the prime contractor and will start work immediately on OneSAF, which is a composable, computer generated forces (CGF) simulation.
The US Army Contracting Command, which will serve as the contracting activity, received three bids for the contract award through online solicitation.
Riptide Software CTO Barry Clinger said: “It is an honour and a huge responsibility to be awarded the task to maintain, support, and improve this highly critical element of our warfighter training. It is with great pride that Riptide has been selected and entrusted with this task and we look forward to successfully executing OneSAF for the next six years.”
Work under the contract is expected to be completed by 5 December 2024. Cole Engineering, Assured Information Technologies, Infinitas, and Phoenix Logistics are included as teammates for the contract.

Through the contract, Riptide’s expects its presence to extend further at military facilities across the globe.
According to the company, the project’s ‘default constructive simulation’ will provide for several US Army, US Marine Corps, and international simulations at more than 40 major installations.
