Under the $11m deal, AirBoss will be responsible for providing Leidos with critical personal protective equipment to support the ADF CBRND programme.

In addition to any potential revenue from an initial five-year support phase, the contract will cover the delivery of protective gear such as gloves, overboots, and the recently launched Low Burden Mask.

Expected to begin next year, deliveries of the equipment are slated to continue until 2023.

“The Land 2110 Phase 1B project aims to provide facilities at 14 sites across Australia to support the training of personnel against exposure to toxic industrial materials and CBRN weapons.”

In addition, the capabilities are focused on providing increased support to other government agencies in domestic CBRN incidents.
