Range Generation Next has been awarded a contract worth $502.22m by the US Army Contracting Command (ACC) for providing engineering and technical services.

The contractual work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama, and Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands, until October 2028.

Cummins Power Generation has received a $490.96m contract to deliver Advanced Medium Mobile Power Sources (AMMPS) generators to the US Army.

Awarded by the US Army Contracting Command (ACC), the contractual work is scheduled to be completed in August 2022.

Cummins’ AMMPS family of generators comprises five versions, including 5kW, 10kW, 15kW, 30kW and 60kW.

Leidos Australia has been awarded new contracts worth $238m to deliver chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) defence capabilities to the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

The company will supply approximately 70,000 CBRN protection systems to offer protection for the Australian soldiers against toxic industrial chemicals and weaponised CBRN agents.

The contracts, which have been awarded by the Government of Australia under the ADF’s Land 2110 Phase 1B CBRN Defence Capability Facilities project, are expected to create employment for 50 people in Victoria and New South Wales (NSW).

Northrop Grumman has been selected by the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for work on the $1.5bn Electronics Resurgence Initiative (ERI).

The company, along with other selected winners, will perform research and analysis on the Clever Design of Digital Belongings programme for a period of five years.

The scope of work includes development of an automated electronic circuit layout generator.

The ERI initiative, which is led by DARPA’s Microsystems Technology Office, aims to improve electronics performance and national security.

The US Army Contracting Command (ACC) has awarded a contract worth $81.88m to General Dynamics Mission Systems to support the warfighter information network-tactical (WIN-T) mission network.

The scope of work includes procurement of configuration items and pre-priced hardware items for the WIN-T network.

General Dynamics will perform the contractual work at its facility in Taunton, Massachusetts, until August 2020.
