The US Army Corps of Engineers has selected Booz Allen Hamilton as one of the six prime contractors for the $900m contract to support the US Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) programme.

Under the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, the company will be responsible for delivering engineering and technical support to the department over a potential period of ten years.

Having commenced in 1972, the US DoD’s JT&E programme assesses interoperability across the military services that would help identify warfighting gaps, evaluate joint technical and operational concepts, and recommend suitable enhancements for the joint force.

Earlier this month, global government services business KBRwyle secured a position on the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to offer rapid solutions to fix problems identified through the JT&E programme.

In April this year, DCS was selected by the US Army Corps of Engineers Engineering Research and Development Center as one of the recipients of the programme to provide testing and evaluation, specialised engineering, test design, data collection, and analysis services.
