CACI International has secured a prime position on a new contract to support the US Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) ENCORE III information technology (IT) solutions programme.

The ten-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a ceiling value of $17.5bn.

As part of the deal, CACI will be responsible for providing DISA with a complete range of IT solutions and services. The company will also continue its work across a wide range of market areas, such as business systems, IT enterprise, and cybersecurity.

It has been tasked with delivering a wide range of solutions to develop, install, field, train, operate and manage components and systems.

As a follow-on to DISA’s $12bn ENCORE II programme, the ENCORE III project supports the US Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint Information Environment initiative. It focuses on attaining a globally-interconnected, integrated and interoperable network to help manage and provide information on-demand to troops, policymakers, and supporting personnel.

The programme is intended to benefit military services, the US DoD, and other federal government agencies.

CACI is one among the 20 companies that have been awarded the ten-year CACI ENCORE III contract.

Aecom’s XNet business, Booz Allen Hamilton, CSRA, General Dynamics’ One Source subsidiary, IndraSoft, Leidos, and ManTech International are a few among the 20 companies to have secured the award.
