Lockheed Martin has launched Strigo, a modular suite of defence solutions intended to expedite the delivery of missile technology.
The offering includes radio-frequency (RF) sensors, missile datalinks, and seeker technologies built on a common architecture.

According to the company, Strigo is designed for rapid reconfiguration to support a variety of missions, including air defence, missile defence, and air-to-surface operations.
To advance these modular technologies, Lockheed Martin established the Strigo Product Centre less than two years ago as a dedicated development facility.
The company said the centre has already taken multiple concepts from design to testing, and has informed elements of the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Increment 2 seeker package.
So far, Lockheed Martin has invested $250m in the centre to drive proactive research and deliver hardware aligned with rapidly evolving threats.
The centre also serves as a repository of ready and near-ready solutions that can be adapted as customer requirements change.
Lockheed Martin plans to continue its investment in RF sensors, missile seekers, and datalink technologies under the Strigo programme, with the intention of supporting current munitions development and laying the groundwork for future US defence capabilities.
