Under this agreement, a total of 72 Boxer Ambulance vehicles will undergo upgrades.

These enhancements include new medical equipment and the integration of advanced digital radios as part of the Bundeswehr’s Digitalization of Land-Based Operations (D-LBO) project.

The first deliveries of the upgraded ambulances are scheduled to begin in 2027.

The variable ambulance mission module in the Boxer sgSanKfz enables it to transport different numbers of casualties, depending on injury type. It also allows for intensive care support.
