Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation has been contracted by the US Army Contracting Command for work on the integrated air and missile defence (IAMD) battle command system (IBCS).

The contractor will perform engineering and manufacturing of IBCS, as part of the second phase of IBCS development programme.

The $44.79m contractual work is scheduled to be completed in next February.

Booz Allen Hamilton has been awarded a contract to provide transformational intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technology to the US Army.

The missiles to be produced under the deal will also be delivered to the governments of Lebanon, Jordon and Morocco under the foreign military sales programme through July 2020.

BAE Systems Land and Armaments has received an order to procure 20 M88A2 HERCULES (heavy equipment recovery combat utility lift and evacuation system) vehicles for the US Army.

The $68.99m order also includes an associated stockage list spares kit.

The procurement of HERCULES vehicles is scheduled to conclude in October 2019.
