The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has extended a long-term partnering agreement (LTPA) with QinetiQ for training and support services.
The £951m contract is an extension of a contract originally signed in 2003, which is to be resigned every five years.

The total value of the 28-year contract is £5.6bn.
QinetiQ will begin to manage 18 core MoD sites and administer non-tasking services, training support capability, maintain associated equipment, land and buildings.
The MoD hopes to save £700m over the course of the contract – in the first five years it has saved £22m.
