The UK military has allegedly been involved in another data bungle, according to a report in daily newspaper The Telegraph, which says sensitive information had again been lost when a laptop went missing.

The report, quoting an unnamed source, says the laptop contained names of SAS soldiers and their training exercises and counter-terrorism manoeuvres.

The MoD, however, has denied the computer contained sensitive information about weapons or operations and instead said all information on the hard drive was ‘unclassified’.

It allegedly went missing during a training exercise and the source said it had not been encrypted.
