The German and Dutch armies will receive new versions of the Boxer all-terrain armoured utility vehicles thanks to new development and series production contracts being set in place.
The contracts were signed by officials from OCCAR-EA and ARTEC in order to make necessary changes in homologation requirements and also to allow for changes in qualification procedures that are more focused on the quality of the series vehicles than was the case on the prototypes.

The contracted changes have already been introduced into the series production, with the first drive module hulls and mission modules for the vehicles now on the assembly line of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW).
