Oshkosh Defence has completed 7,500 miles of on-and-off road durability testing for its MRAP all-terrain vehicle (M-ATV) and is close to hitting the final target of 10,000 miles.
Based on the combat-tested Oshkosh medium tactical vehicle replacement chassis, M-ATV employs technologies already being used by the US Army making the vehicle highly durable and mobile.

M-ATV integrates with Oshkosh’s TAK-4 system which is the only readily available and theatre-tested off-road suspension system used by the US forces for this category of vehicle.
The independent testing has demonstrated the vehicle’s outstanding off-road performance that would help US forces in rough territories like Afghanistan, the company said.
