The AN/TPQ-36 radar technology identifies the firing paths of enemy shells and rockets and uses this data to simultaneously locate up to ten enemy firing points.

The prime contractor, Raytheon, has delivered four of the seven upgraded weapon-locating radars proven suitable for operational employment.
