Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS) has received a one-year contract extension to continue transporting US troops and supplies.

Under the Heavy Lift VI contract, Agility will continue to transport military personnel, supplies and equipment vehicles to Iraq and Kuwait defence bases. The contract includes heavy equipment transport (HET) and flatbed trailers.

The extension was awarded by the Rock Island Contracting Centre. It will engage Agility for Heavy Lift VI until 30 June 2010.
