A new technology that secures radio communications between soldiers has been demonstrated to the US Army by Raytheon and SafeNet as part of the US Army Cryptographic Modernization Technology Day at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.

The DragonFire family of radios developed by Raytheon with SafeNet’s type 1 encryptor provides secure streaming video and data on various platforms such as fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, light armoured vehicles and other fixed locations.
