The US Army has received an enhanced Helotrac RL maintenance management system for its UH-72A Lakota light utility helicopter (LUH) programme from Sikorsky Aerospace Services.

Helotrac RL is a maintenance management software tool that allows aircraft operators to access aircraft compliance information for inspections, overhaul and alert service bulletins through the internet.

Sikorsky has enhanced three primary features of the system: safety, an operating and support management information system, and fleet management capabilities.

The safety enhancement allows the customer to generate reports based on aircraft selection and date ranges while the enhanced fleet management module provides additional fleet management data to help determine timely fleet and aircraft readiness.
