Saturn features an adaptable multivehicle, multisensor architecture which combines air and ground based autonomous robot vehicles to provide situational awareness.

The integrated sensors in the vehicle enable the Saturn system to achieve a full area search without the operator intervention thereby maximising the detection capacity of the system.

Saturn was developed by Stellar Research Services who won the MoD’s grand challenge competition in 2008.

The vehicle will be delivered for trials by UK forces in December 2009.
