Trident Space & Defense has introduced its new BGADrive design and its Triton series of ruggedised solid-state drives (SSDs) for military and industrial use at the DSEi show in London.

Trident’s BGADrive SSD is a high-density PATA (parallel ATA) solid-state drive in a ball grid array (BGA) package integrated into a ruggedised design that is both shock resistant and splashproof to allow for computing on the move in conflict situations.

BGADrive allows a storage capacity of 32GB and delivers a solid-state solution for data storage and protection while providing the high performance and speed required by today’s data-intensive applications.

It is an operating system-independent drive, which allows a storage capacity of up to 128GB.
