The US Army has awarded a contract of around $309m to NCI to provide information technology and engineering support services.

Under the seven-year contract, the company will provide a wide range of IT, systems engineering and infrastructure support services to the Army’s Program Executive Office, Fort Belvoir Directorate of Information Management and Fort Carson Directorate of Information Management.

The support services include local, wide and campus-area network operations, data centre, cyber security and information assurance, telecommunications, and spectrum management, customer technical and remote support.

The NCI also will provide services including software application development, army enterprise architectural support, and other associated services.

Work will be carried out in Florida, Alabama, Virginia and Colorado and is expected to be complete by 14 January 2017.
