Turkish Defence Company FNSS has signed a $600m contract with Malaysia’s DefTech to develop 257 Pars wheeled armoured vehicles for the Malaysian military.

Under the contract, FNSS will design, develop, manufacture and supply logistical support for the vehicles, while DefTech will assemble them locally.

Pars is an amphibious armoured vehicle available in four, six and eight-wheel types.

The company had sold other armoured vehicles worth $300m to Malaysia, according to Defense News.
