The Australian Department of Defence (DoD) has placed an order with Harris for its Falcon III tactical radios as part of a networked battlefield communications system for Australian Army vehicles.

As per the terms of the order, Harris will supply Falcon III RF-152 handheld radios along with RF-300M trimline vehicular adapters for installation on a range of army vehicles including Bushmaster protected mobility vehicles.

The Harris equipment provides interoperable tactical voice and data communications for both ground-to-ground and ground-to-air applications enabling seamless communications to the soldiers while on the move.
