Mastiff is the UK version of the Cougar 6×6 and is armed with a 7.62mm GPMG, 12.7mm heavy machine gun or 40mm grenade machine gun.
Work under the $27.4m subcontract will be carried out in Ladson, South Carolina, US, and is expected to be complete by 31 December 2011.
