Harris Corporation has received an order from an Asian nation for an integrated tactical communications system to provide command and control in a variety of missions.

Under the $19m order, the company will deliver and integrate Falcon III and Falcon II tactical radios for advanced situational awareness capabilities.

The system also includes software-defined tactical radios, the RF-7800S secure pPersonal radio, the RF-7800V VHF combat net handheld radio, and the RF-7800I vehicular intercom system.

The RF-7800 family of radios provide full-duplex voice capability, high-speed data connectivity, in-vehicle voice and data communication, tactical network connectivity, battle management system interoperability, and voice and data connectivity among vehicle crew members.
