The Indian Army has rescheduled the test firing of its indigenous land attack version block-2 supersonic cruise missile, BrahMos, due to technical difficulties.
The test, originally scheduled for 8 August, will be conducted in the next two to three days at the Pokhran field firing range, India.

According to the Times of India, the BrahMos missile will be fired using an autonomous launcher to hit a target placed at a distance of 28km.
The land attack version of the missile, a joint venture between India and Russia, is fitted with advance seeker software and can discriminate the target.
