Aerodyne has received a contract to provide technical and engineering support for the US Army Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Project Office.
The five-year contract has five additional options which, if exercised, will bring the total value of the contract to $105m.

Under the contract, the company will provide integrated programme management services including acquisition management, systems engineering, test and evaluation, and lifecycle logistics support, including fielding, training and sustainment.
Aerodyne UAS Programmes director Jim Charlton said that the company would support the army in developing and achieving UAS capabilities for mission success.
Work will be carried out primarily at the US Army’s Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, US.
