Danish Defence has partnered with global provider Fleet Complete to use its fleet management and carsharing solution.
As part of this collaboration, 2,000 Danish Defence vehicles have been subscribed for the solution.

Vehicles in the pool include regular cars, mini-vans and other service transport.
The online mobile reservation Carsharing app will improve access to vehicles for all defence staff members around the country.
This will also allow assets to be used to conduct operations in a more economical and environmentally responsible manner.
The app will provide radio-frequency identification (RFID) access for all employees, which will reduce the need for keys. The booking system will suggest the closest available vehicle to the users when they request for a vehicle.

Carsharing is expected to reduce the operating costs and ensure better use of the vehicles, delivering fuel and CO₂ emissions reduction.
In addition, administrators will be able to have complete visibility about what vehicles are being driven, by whom and where.
Usage reports will offer data on if the vehicles are in the right spot based on the needs of the employees and if they are used in the right way.
