With the completion of the deal, UDC-MAST will function as a new division of UDC and focus on ammunition manufacturing methods and equipment.

It will continue to operate from Warrensburg, Missouri, with MAST former CEO Jay Bell to serve as general manager.

In the next few months, the Warrensburg operation is expected to undergo major physical expansion.

The UDC-MAST will continue loading, assembly and packaging of niche products, including 40mm munitions, small calibre ammunition and M81 igniters.

Jay Bell said: “I am unbelievably excited for future opportunities. Matt’s experience, knowledge, and integrity are well established in the defence community.

“Matt and I together are going to be a very formidable combination. I believe we can multiply our capabilities and obtain exponential growth.”
