Leidos has secured a contract from the US Army Contracting Command-Redstone to offer aircraft logistics and maintenance in theatres of operations.

With a total potential value of $25.5bn, the indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract has a five-year performance based period and a five-year optional ordering period.

Work under the firm-fixed-price contract will be carried out in Afghanistan and Greece in support of US Army operations.

Other awardees of the Worldwide Logistics Support Services Contractor Logistics Support contract include Pinnacle Solutions, AAR Supply Chain, Dyncorp International, Arma Aviation, Black Hall Aerospace, North American Surveillance Systems and L-3 Communications Vertex Aerospace.

Support services provided under the contract include sustainment engineering, maintenance planning and management, equipment maintenance, aircraft modifications, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation.
