The ammunition is based on BAE’s combat proven all-target programmable, pre-fragmented, proximity-fused (3P) ammunition, and can be programmed in various function modes, providing optimised effect against a wide range of targets on the battlefield.

BAE’s 3P ammunition can be programmed for optimised effect against any target, including airburst patterns for new threats that were earlier deemed impossible to engage.

Production and final assembly of the ammunition is scheduled to take place at a facility in Karlskoga, Sweden, while deliveries will begin in June 2015 and continue until February 2016.
