"The GME consortium will cover all phases of the armament programme."

Deliveries of approximately 2,000 vehicles, in addition to all related logistical support equipment, are set to begin in 2018.

The new multirole armoured Griffon vehicle and reconnaissance and combat armoured Jaguar variant will replace the French Army’s existing VAB and AMX10RC, as well as the ERC Sagaie and VAB Hot, which have been deployed by the army in all theatre missions for 30 years.

The latest technologies in mobility, protection, weapons and digitisation will be incorporated in the first Scorpion-approved systems.
