The deal includes production, delivery and testing of the initial systems for a multi-phase initiative.
Protector MCRWS is being provided to incorporate onto the Stryker infantry carrier vehicle (ICV).
Manufactured by Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace, the Protector is a line-of-combat system designed to enable target acquisition and engagement from safer distances on the battlefield, thereby enhancing troop protection and combat capabilities.
It can be installed on any type of platform, and allows soldiers to operate a vehicle’s weapons from a protected position inside it.

The Stryker is an eight-wheel drive armoured vehicle designed to protect infantry from artillery fragments, roadside mines and improvised explosive devices.
The vehicle entered operational service in early 2001. It is available in eight variants, including nuclear, biological, chemical reconnaissance, medical evacuation, and engineer squad versions, as well as a version carrying anti-tank guided missile vehicles.
