This laser-based system will allow WSOWL to conduct realistic combat training using small arms and anti-tank weapons laser simulators.

The TESS capability is expected to improve the army’s ability to conduct and analyse the outcomes of force-on-force exercises, in line with current requirements for a long-term, sustainable and field-proven training system.

Saab said that the live training system has been developed and continuously modernised based on experience from deliveries made to more than 20 customer nations.
