The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has notified Congress of a potential $668m sale of reconditioned Stryker infantry carrier vehicles (ICVs) to Peru.

Under the sale, Peru seeks to receive 178 reconditioned Stryker ICVs, 178 M2 Flex .50-calibre machine guns, and 178 remote weapon stations (RWS).

The Government of Peru also requested driver vision enhancers, GPS navigation, testing equipment, associated M2 Flex spare parts and tripods, M6 Smoke Grenade launchers, VIC-3 systems, operator new equipment training (OPNET) and field level maintenance training (FLMNET).

The sale also covers publications, training manuals, technical support services, de-processing services for shipment; and associated transportation.
