Designed to withstand adverse environmental conditions, HMT 400 Desert successfully passed tactical trials and tests by UAE forces.

The vehicle also features tactical CH-47 internal loading, in compliance with the UAE Presidential Guard’s requirements.

Supacat head Phil Applegarth said: “Supacat is committed to supporting the region and in the event that HMT 400 Desert is selected by the UAE Presidential Guard, a large element of the production and subsequent support programmes will be conducted in UAE.”

HMT 400 Desert's lighter gross vehicle mass is said to improve its power-to-weight ratio and increase its mobility over deep desert sand.
