IAP Worldwide Services has secured a position on the US Army’s multiple-award, indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ), responsive strategic sourcing for services (RS3) contract, valued at around $37bn.

The company is one of 55 contractors that will provide knowledge-based professional services for programmes with requirements related to command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR).

Among the awardees are BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services, MicroTech, BANC3, Booz Allen Hamilton, CGI Federal, CSRA, General Dynamics Global Force, ManTech Advanced Systems International and SRI International.

In total, the army received 387 online bids for the ten-year RS3 contract.

As part of the contract, IAP will provide customised solutions worldwide, including engineering support services, logistics, education and training, research development test and evaluation (RDT&E), and C4ISR.

The contract requires MicroTech to provide customised engineering, RDT&E, logistics, acquisition and strategic planning, and education and training services.

Work under the contract is expected to be completed by 14 May 2022.
