Gichner Systems Group engineers, manufactures, and integrates nonexpandable, one-side and two-side expandable Army Standard Family (ASF) 20ft ISO shelters. These lightweight units can be utilised in a wide range of mission critical applications including maintenance shops, tactical operations centers, command and communications facilities or medical units. The expandable shelter variants are designed to allow for increased operating volume, while maintaining the dimensional requirements of ISO 668 during transportation and storage. Gichner’s ASF custom integration capabilities include power distribution, electrical provisions and LED lighting, work stations, and other support equipment to meet specific application requirements. Gichner has manufactured and reset ASF shelters under many contracts with the US Army, including a five-year IDIQ contract through Natick.
