Deals this week: General Dynamics, RS Federal Services, NEANY
General Dynamics Land Systems has been awarded a $508.71m contract by the US Army Contracting Command to modernise 215 Stryker flat bottom vehicles.
Under the contract, the Stryker vehicles will be configured with a double-V hull design through April 2019.
The Army Contracting Command has also awarded a $49.17m contract to NEANY to support an unmanned aerial system (UAS).
NEANY will develop and supply ground surveillance systems to the US Army.
Alion Science and Technology has won a $48.34m prime contract from the US Army to conduct research and develop decision support tools for operational simulations.
The contractual work is expected to be completed in late 2019.
RS Federal Services has received a contract modification to provide flight training and support services for rotary-wing flight instructors from the Army Aviation Center of Excellence.
Awarded by the US Army Contracting Command, the $19.86m contract will run until April 2017.
Airbus has received an order to supply a C295 airlifter, as well as related support and training, for Bangladesh Army Aviation by 2017.
With the latest deal, Airbus’ orders to date for the C295 medium airlifter have reached a total of 26.
