Tauri Group has secured two new task orders to provide support services for the US Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD).

The orders have been awarded under the JPEO-CBD Omnibus Program Engineering and Technical Support (OPETS) medical domain.

Under the task order contracts, the company is responsible for providing support services for the development and use of chemical and biological defence materials.

Awarded as a re-compete win, the current task order enables bioengineers and scientists to support the JPEO-CBD joint project manager (JPM) for Medical Countermeasures Systems, JPM for Protection and Guardian JPM.

“We are honoured to be the principal provider of medical specialists to JPEO, and ultimately supporting medical initiatives.”

Under the second task order, Tauri Group will have to carry out new work and provide non-clinical advisors, process advisors and regulatory affairs managers to support the OPETS programme.

The two contracts enable the company to further strengthen its role in providing solutions to troops.
