Squirrel Compliancy Solutions has received a contract to provide automated network compliancy for Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) (ANCDS) solution.
The contract was awarded by the US Army’s Military Entrance Process Command (MEPCOM).

Squirrel’s ANCDS solution enables continuous monitoring and enforcement of MEPCOM’s security posture and vulnerability risk awareness.
In addition to supporting nine DISA STIGs audits, ANCDS updates the audits whenever the agency revises or releases new STIGs.
STIGs are released to assist with the protection of the systems that are designed to support military readiness and operations.

MEPCOM enterprise network serves all US military branches. The ANCDS solution provided by Squirrel has the ability to dynamically adjust to the configuration of each remote site.
The deployment of the solution allowed for the identification of vulnerabilities previously undetected.
In addition, ANCDS facilitated the automation of the remediation process and lowered risk exposure.
The solution was put through Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI) by MEPCOM.
In February last year, Squirrel announced the availability of an automated network compliance solution for DISA STIGs.
ANCDS involves automation of the process of determining if network devices are configured in accordance with the appropriate DISA STIGs.
