Rafael Tactical, Precision Weapon systems directorate head Zvi M said: “This new launcher will enhance ground forces’ precise stand-off capabilities for low-signature operations in a variety of operational scenarios and requirements. Rafael continues to develop advanced, tailor-made solutions to afford forces increased maneuverability and effective fire-power to overcome battlefield challenges and achieve optimal mission results.”

The Tomcar, which carries the air-deployable missile launcher, weighs 1,350kg and holds up to eight rounds. This technology gives armed forces a low-weight, maneuverable precision element that can be dropped into enemy territory and identify static and mobile targets with high precision and without the use of GPS.

The video shows how the SPIKE NLOS launcher can hit various target types at different trajectories, from a distance of greater than 25km away.
