CACI International has received a two-year, $34m contract from the US Army to continue its support for the advancement of specialised technologies for the night vision and electronic sensors directorate (NVESD).

The contract, awarded under the Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) contract vehicle, sustains CACI’s business in its command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) market area.

Under the deal, CACI will offer programme management and systems engineering support for the development and advancement of electro-optical and infrared sensor components, which detect and identify air, sea and ground targets.

The company’s support services are expected to help increase soldier awareness of threats and adversaries wherever they serve.
