The US Department of Defense’s (DoD) High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office (HEL-JTO) has awarded a contract to Boeing to continue developing the high-power adaptive optic system prototype.
Under the contract, Boeing, in partnership with SAIC, will test the system with the high-energy laser technology demonstrator (HEL TD).
