A Lockheed Martin-led consortium has been selected by the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) to bid for future task orders under the INSCOM Omnibus-III contracting vehicle.

Established by INSCOM, Omnibus-III is a multiple award, indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract to create the procurement framework for delivering intelligence and technical support to the US Army INSCOM and its major subordinate commands.

The Lockheed Martin-led team is one of the six companies selected to compete for future task orders worth $492m over a five-year period.

Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services-Defense vice-president for Operational Systems and Services Bob Kramer said the selection helped the team to deliver innovative solutions and analytic subject matter expertise in support of army intelligence missions.

Lockheed Martin has supported INSCOM for the last 20 years.
