The army has also received the enhanced, regenerated ELTAM electronic tactical simulator for mechanised formations in development stages E1-E4.

Its mechanised training centre features electronic gunnery training systems such as the ELSA Spz2000, ELSA Leo II WE and a Schiesskommandant (SKdt) gunnery commander system.

The army will employ the virtual reality systems for training operations that range from individual tank gunnery to full-scale tactical exercises at battalion staff level.
