Iran has unveiled a new long-range drone aircraft, the Karrar, or destroyer, the latest series of Iranian military weapons.

The drone is the third unmanned military aircraft and the second new weapon that Iran has unveiled recently.

The new aircraft can carry four cruise missiles and has a range of 620 miles, according to the New York Times.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad referred to the weapon as a messenger of glory and salvation for humanity but an ambassador of death for Iran's enemies.

Iran has also successfully test launched the Qiam surface-to-surface missile, according to Defense Minister General Ahmad Vahidi.
