ITT has been awarded a firm-fixed-price follow-on enhanced night vision goggle (ENVG) contract by the US Army Research, Development & Engineering Command Acquisition Center.

Under the $260m contract, ITT will design, develop and manufacture the ENVG for the US Army.

ITT had competed in the second ENVG follow-on proposal with an updated version known as the Spiral enhanced night vision goggle (SENVG).

The ENVG is a sensor-fused goggle that optically overlays image intensification and thermal infrared imagery in one goggle.

ITT has provided 2,400 systems to the US Army and will deliver another 6,500 systems under the current contract.
