Iran will unveil a range of weapons, missiles, speedboats and a long-range drone on 22 August 2010 to mark the country’s annual government week, according to Iranian defence minister Ahmad Vahid.

The Iranian armed forces will test-fire the new generation Qiam (Rising) surface-to-surface missiles and the third generation of Fateh 110 (Conqueror) missiles.

The Fateh 110 has a range of 150-200km, according to AFP.

Iran will also unveil its first domestically manufactured long-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the Karrar.

The production of two missile-carrying speedboats, the Seraj (Lamp) and Zolfaqar, will also be started on the same day.
