The Defense Security Cooperation Agency in the US has notified Congress of a potential sale of guidance-enhanced missile-T (GEM-T) missiles to Kuwait.
Under the estimated $900m foreign military sale, Kuwait will receive 209 MIM-104E Patriot GEM-T missiles to improve the security of the major non-Nato ally.
Kuwait has plans to increase its capabilities to meet current and future threats of enemies’ air-to-ground weapons and to strengthen its homeland defence.
Raytheon in Massachusetts will be the prime contractor.
