Raytheon will partner with Lockheed Martin to pursue the US Missile Defense Agency’s ground-based midcourse defence (GMD) development and sustainment contract.
The strategic partners will develop, produce and sustain leading interceptor weapon systems for missile defence against a limited attack by intermediate and long-range ballistic missiles.
