The Defense Security Cooperation Agency in the US has notified Congress of a potential sale of two years of contractor logistics support for various helicopters to Iraq.
Under the estimated $152m foreign military sale, the Government of Iraq will receive two years of contractor logistics support for Mi-17 helicopters and US rotary wing aircraft.

The proposed sale directly supports the Iraqi Government to help develop a strong national military and police force structure.
The contractor logistics support and services will equip new Iraqi forces to take over the missions currently accomplished by the US and coalition forces and to sustain itself in bringing stability to Iraq.
Aeronautical Radio Incorporated (ARINC) will be the prime contractor.
